4th July 2026 – Pontypool Relay Afternoon

The 24-hour Relay For Life Pontypool in support of Cancer Research UK will take place at Pontypool Park (NP4 8AT) from Saturday, 4th July (11:00 AM) to Sunday, 5th July 2026 (11:00 AM). This is a community-driven event featuring a continuous track relay alongside live entertainment, food vendors, craft stalls, and the poignant Candle of Hope ceremony.

Event Schedule & Highlights:

  • 10:00 AM: Vendors and craft stalls open to the public.
  • 11:00 AM: The main Relay begins as teams take turns walking the track continuously for 24 hours.
  • Afternoon Activities: Expect a packed program including performances by groups like the Blaenavon Male Voice Choir and Nifty Stringz, as well as a dog show and family-friendly activities.
