Welcome to Blaenavon Male Voice Choir

Founded in 1910, the Blaenavon Male Voice Choir has been a beacon of musical excellence, bringing the community together through the power of song. We invite you to explore our journey, join our performances, and be part of a rich musical heritage.

2026 is going to be a big year for Blaenavon Male Voice Choir.  We are singing in June 2026 in the Royal Albert Hall and have several other exciting events that will be announced in the upcoming months. To support this we are looking to drive up our chorister numbers. Come to our open rehearsals  - click the button below to book your spot

Blaenavon to Usk Triathlon Sunday 26th April 2026

On 26 April 2026, Blaenavon Male Voice Choir will take on a unique 50‑mile triathlon from Blaenavon to Usk cycling, canoeing, walking and even performing along the way—to raise awareness and funds for local charities while celebrating our community spirit.

Building on the success of last year’s ultra‑marathon, this bold challenge showcases what a modern male voice choir can be: active, visible and united.

A group of 9 members walked over 28 miles raising over £4,200 for the choir and some amazing local charities. Read the story here or listen to the BBC Wales interview.
